Chris Brown was caught shopping and hanging out at The Grove in LA sporting a Charlotte Hornets cap, a personalized varsity jacket in an orange and navy, and his favorite customized MCM backpack.
It seems that everywhere Chris goes he has his trusted backpack with him and why wouldn’t he it’s hot. Recently in his websiode about style he revealed that he has an upcoming collaboration with the MCM brand because he loves there items so much.

The whole winter I’ve been trying to find the ideal trapper hat. If your not familiar with what rapper hats are click here. I recently found on another entertainment bloggers site that there are some funky trapperesk type hats called Wolf Hoods. I think these are so dope because they are long, look über cozy and are just cool. The only thing is they typically run for about $140. I mean if I had that type of money to spend on a hat I would definitely get it but for now I can only dream.

So this is a new segment that I migrated from my old blog entitled caught ya. In these segments I will focus on candid/appearance photographs of celebrities and I will discuss their outfits.
Lets get into the goodness.
Zoe Saldana always seems to wear the perfect outfits. With the body of a model it’s almost impossible for her to look bad. Zoe is wearing a Alexander McQueen Resort 2011 jacket paired with dark jeans, a basic black top, black heels and can we talk about that bag…ugh to die for.
Alicia Keys was spotted @ the Miami Heat vs New York Knicks game at Madison Square Garden looking very blue. Ms. Keys wore a gold and sliver studded blue leather jacket, a blue shirt, jeans and a pair of uniquely studded heels. While I love Alicia I am not digging this look. It simply looks like she is trying way to hard. I would have done the jacket, a basic black or white top, jeans and different heels. The outfit seems to be competing with itself. Come on Ms. Keys do you need to go back to fashion school?
Mo’Nique looks absolutely fabulous in her greyish taupe sheer draped dress. The dress is doing wonders for her frame, hugging in all the right places. This is a perfect example of how us plus size women should wear dresses. I love that she also did very subtle jewelry for the earrings, no necklace and one diamond bracelet.
Angela Simmons & Kelly Rowland don’t really look like there at the same event. Lets begin with Angela. I’m not liking this dress. I think if it was a plain little white dress it would have definitely worked. The cutouts all over just look cheap. However, Kelly must know that her color is black. I think she looks so chic and effortless when she is in all black. The black hair, the black leather jacket and the black knee high boots – PRICELESS.
Iman is not waiting for spring. The fashion icon was spotted wearing a aqua and blue cropped jacket, a white shirt with gold detailing, grey trousers and black boots. I must say that this not at all one of my favorites on Iman. I think she could have paired the jacket with jeans and a basic tee shirt rather than disheveled looking grey pants and a random shirt.
Halle Berry is definitely saving the day. She is looking flawless and edgy in a a black sweater cardigan, black/grey washed jeans, black combat boots and a black leather bag. And get this a baseball cap. I mean really but for some reason it just works for me.
The question is who do you think was the best in this segment of Caught Ya?

So after reviewing the new Christian Dior Spring 2011 haute couture collection by John Galliano. I started to see a bit of an inspiration in the line. I know this may seem kooky but the vibe I got from the collection was that of my favorite Disney Divas, Cruella Deville, Snow White and Cinderella. These Disney Characters all had their own style and Galliano seemed to portray each one in his new collection. Cruella with her diva persona always wearing black, fur and knee length pencil skirts. Snow White with her red lips, Hollywood glam curls, her detailed collar and layered dresses. And of course Cinderella with her high buns, headbands, long gloves and elaborate dresses.
This just goes to show you that fashion can come from anywhere. From vacations, books, and even cartoon characters.

In Nicki Minaj’s new video entitled Moment 4 Life, Ms. Minaj is pulling out all the stops with her elaborate outfits. In one of the clips she seems to be sporting a pair of Rock & Republic Saffron High Heel Platform studded booties going for about $395. Pretty high I know but they are super cute. These boots are covered with gold studs, and have zips on the sides for easy access.
